The much-anticipated  music video of fast-rising UK-based Ghanaian afro gospel artist,Joseph Matthew aka JM titled “Nyame Ye”, invoked verbal exchanges between entertainment critics DJ Oxy of OXY FM, and Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu aka KOKA of Roverman Productions on Atinka TV’s “Entertainment City”.

“Entertainment City”,a showbiz program, hosted by well-respected female broadcaster Nana Adwoa Annan every Saturday, has a segment in which new videos which are being premiered are reviewed by pundits on the show.

This week’s edition, featured Joseph Matthew’s  “Nyeme Ye” music video directed by internationally acclaimed Music video director Martin Sean.

Shot in London and in Venezuela, per the concept,Location,Choreography and the director, the ‘Nyame Ye’ music video is purportedly estimated at a whooping sum of 150K Pounds.

Reviewing the “Nyame Ye” music video,DJ OXY and KOKA, who were pundits on the show, had a hot exchange of words after Kwaku Asiedu had indicated that, even though, the video is great, he finds it extremely difficult to hear the lyrics of the song.

To the chagrin of the host Nana Adwoa Annan, KOKA then rated the video 35%. Koka’s rating didn’t go down well with DJ OXY, who then humiliated the former by indicating that, there must be something amiss with his eardrum.

“I don’t agree with Kwaku’s assertion…if he says he couldn’t hear the lyrics of the song, then i think he has a serious problem with his eardrum, because I heard everything clearly and the song is great…I saw some persons dancing ‘abgaja’, and it makes the video really great… it’s really good when it comes to tourism…”DJ Oxygen revealed as monitored by RazzNews.com

DJ Oxygen, after humiliating KOKA by indicating that he is shocked the latter rated such a great piece 35%,augmented his argument by rating the video 95%.

  1. I was lucky to catch da show on tv and the first time I heard of the artist Joseph Matthew. I think he’s such a talented young man.
Ghanaians should be proud of this new gift and support him. We need to stop being unnecessarily critical and become more supportive.
